A week-long plan focussed on the Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll (from Alice through the Looking Glass). Pie Corbett inspired - the activities throughout the week focus on vocabulary and explore word classes in a slightly more interesting way.
We used this with Year 3 and they really enjoyed investigating the nonsense words and making their own, however it would work really well with Year 4 too.
