31 illustrated punctuation worksheets in a 39-page PDF for KS3 and KS4, with an introduction and historical English Framework and adult-literacy curriculum reference pages.

Each sheet explains a punctuation point, gives examples and provides exercises. Topics include sentences, full stops and commas, capital letters, abbreviations and acronyms, questions and exclamations, semicolons, colons, brackets, dashes, paragraphs, apostrophes and speech marks. Two general-practice sheets bring the skills together.

The approach and vocabulary are simpler than in Literacy Basics: Grammar Worksheets. Select sheets to introduce a point, provide practice or consolidate learning with individuals or groups. Teaching explanations are on the worksheets; separate lesson-by-lesson teachers’ notes are not included in this PDF.

Supplied as the original publication, previously titled Grammar Rules OK! Punctuation. Historical curriculum references are retained without a claim of alignment with current requirements.
