A fantastic activity for students to revise Macbeth.
How to play
The students will be shown a grid. Each square will contain a description or clue, for example “used to kill king Duncan”.
The students then work in groups to find the answers for each square. When they think they know an answer, one member of the team can ‘rush’ to the board to stick their post-it-note containing their answer over that square. That square cannot then be guessed by any other team.
When all squares are guessed, the correct answers will be shown on the next slide.
The team who correctly guess the most squares wins the game.
This a fantastic active starter of plenary task.
The powerpoint contains four different Macbeth themed Board Rush games that can be rotated.
