Students work together on specific characters (Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, the Witches) using resources provided (quotations, context, academic essays) to decide who is responsible for the death of King Duncan. Guidance included on challenge questions to ask when circulating.
After this, students present to each other their ideas before returning to their home group to plan a response to the following:
