Transforming the dog is great as an enthusiastic starter to a lesson on Matrix Transformations. Alternatively give each student a copy of the file and let them investigate the different transformations. They will also learn about Excel. If you have cat lovers, see the separate resource. If you are teaching at Christmas or Easter, there is also a transformation Santa and Bunny! beats just using the unit square.
