This lesson is designed to be engaging but simultaneously introducing the key treatments that were used during the Renaissance
The lesson begins with a chocolate bar task to encourage students to collaborate in recalling prior knowledge of medicine during the Renaissance.
They will then engage in an activity to try and save the life of Charles II, making group decisions on the best course of action at each key stage of his illness
I then have students complete an exam question from the new 9-1 spec Describe 2 features of Renaissance Medicine with a structure sticker for peer assessment
