pupils are asked to transform Napolian across the map to where 'X&' marks the spot. The constraints are written in the instructions to stop them just simply translating him straight to the finishing point.
A good way of AFL is for them to write the instructions on the left, doing their transformations with tracing paper over the map, so a partner can actually use the instructions and draw on the sheet to check if it will actually take Napolian to the &';X'.
