When downloaded this is aligned but looks wonky on preview!
I want to create intelligent worksheets for low ability students.
This worksheet begins with simple calculations and goes on to larger numbers and then decimal numbers.
I have given each part titles rather than numbers as I want my students to be more confident using mathematical language.
Multiplying by 10 is often lumped in with x 100 and x 1000 but I want to spend one lesson purely with 10.
I want to debunk the " add a zero" 5 x 10 is not the same as 5 + 0
I have wipeable place value cards (hang on will add them in here) so students can write the question and then underneath how it changes when multiplied by 10.
I have added the answers but in my classes everyone checks their answers on calculators at the end.
