This will take 2-3 lessons. It is an introduction to narrative poetry with a focus on 'The Raven' by Edgar Allan Poe. There is a focus on tension building techniques and lots of creative writing built into the lessons. There is an opportunity for students to write their own narrative poem based on well-known fairy tales.
