Students randomly choose two characters, setting, situation and theme and use them to write a narrative! Simply cut up the cards provided and place into cups (labels provided).
Students use the planning sheets to plan their story in a method of your choice (draw, mind map, or write.) These sheets also include versions with a built in checklist for students to make sure they have included their story elements in a narrative with a beginning, middle and end!
There are also various writing pages included to meet your needs. Some include space for teacher comments, peer evaluation and self assessment.
There is also a writing sheet provided for their finished narrative.
