clear break down of tasks for students
Two professional guest speakers came to talk about specific pathologies ( addiction and eating behaviour specifically) in order for the students to complete this task. The resources can easily be changed/altered.
I'm not sure how to contact you, one of the powerpoints has the sociological perspectives slides in it, can you confirm if this is correct? Its the powerpoint titled 'Task 2 behaviour of service users in health and social care settings'.
Thanks

Good evening. If you need the psychological perspectives ( not sociological), you will find them in detail in task 1 resources. Task 2 refers to those perspectives in health and social care settings but doesn’t describe them. I hope this helps!

Hi Emma,
Resources are brilliant! Full of activities and really helped me get my head around how to deliver this unit.
Can I ask how/where you got the Task 2 case studies from? I've had conflicted messages from a few people delivering this unit and how imperative it is that the students actually go on a placement. A few teachers I know have written the studies themselves!

Hello. Thanks for positive feedback on my resources.it is indeed extremely difficult to deliver the new Btec as there isn't that much guidance. I used some psychology textbooks ( A level ones) and the internet to create the case studies. Our students don't have placement and our assignments have been agreed with Btec . I can therefore confirm that your students can only use case studies for their tasks.Best wishes.
