Pupils calculate cost of newspaper adverts and put in order - then can create their own to a budget. Resource is in Promethean / Powerpoint and the adverts can be printed from the word Document. We used this as a transition resource but have also used it in Year 7.
Some adverts are obviously quite poorly worded (but might be cheap) - so we discussed what makes a good advert.
