PASSIONATE Imaginative / Creative Writing

A complete lesson, on descriptive/imaginative/creative writing, perfect for both KS3 and KS4. The lesson teaches students how to use the acronym ‘PASSIONATE’ to remember key descriptive writing techniques. The lesson is based on flying, and includes links to some exhilarating videos that students will love watching. It includes an original piece of writing, as a model example, containing all of the PASSIONATE techniques. It also includes traffic lit differentiated tasks, a great peer assessment sheet and a DIRT section. Students use their purple/green pens to improve their own work. ZERO MARKING AND MAXIMUM PROGRESS!
Perfect for both AQA and Pearson Edexcel , this is great Year 11 preparation for the writing section in Language Paper 1. It can also be used for year 7, 8, 9 and 10 and is easily adaptable to work with different extracts.
