This lesson looks at Philip Larkin’s poems ‘Whatever Happened’ and ‘No Road’ - It asks students to analyse key features, such as imagery, form, themes etc. It also provides background context and asks students to compare and contrast the poems on the theme of relationships. I have included a revision handout with my students complete on each poem that covers the main aspects of what we have studied in the lesson.
