A set of cards designed to use for the consolidation of sounds included in phase 5 and spelling.
Perfect to use in continuous provision.
Each card has a picture and then boxes that represent how you would sound button the word. It includes split digraphs, which are represented by an arrow.
Includes:
1 x Answers
1 x Supported (only the phase 5 sounds within the word have been left blank). e.g ‘leaf’ would be shown as ‘l__f’.
1 x Blank (just includes the picture, no sound have been filled in).
How you could use:
- Cut out and laminate each card. Children can use a whiteboard pen and write the sounds on and it will rub off.
- Cut out and laminate each card . Children to use magnetic letters to make the word by placing the letters in the correct spaces.
- Cut out the picture box and the sound button boxes seperately and laminate. Put in a basket for the children to select the laminated sounds and match with the picture to create the word.
