This resource includes two versions of a place value chart to support teaching and learning in maths:

Simple Empty Place Value Chart – A clean, no-frills template where pupils can practice writing numbers in the correct place value columns (ones, tens, hundreds, etc.). Ideal for introducing or reinforcing place value understanding.

Interactive Place Value Addition Chart – Designed for practical activities, this version allows children to use counters, digits, or Dienes blocks to represent numbers. Perfect for demonstrating regrouping when adding, and for giving pupils hands-on experience with exchanging between place value columns.

Both charts can be printed and laminated for repeated use, or displayed on the board for whole-class teaching. Mainly suitable for lower KS2 but canalso be used in KS1.
