Lesson for my mid-ability Y11 class. Focusing on the theme of memories in the Power and Conflict anthology poems. Students fill in gaps and discuss some quotes from three poems. They then complete mind maps to act as a recall exercise of key ideas in poems and then a planning exercise based on an exam style question. Students then complete first piece of analysis and complete self assessment.
