This is a lesson investigating the reactivity of 4 metals. Students add each metal to acid and record observations as to whether they react. The students have to then write their investigation up - including their equipment list, method and analysis of results. There is minimal support during the write up so this would be best for a higher ability class, however can be used with lower abilities if they are used to writing up practicals with minimal guidance.
