From doctors and firefighters to teachers and delivery drivers, this engaging pack introduces young learners to the people who keep communities safe and supported.
This resource includes three differentiated texts (Starter, Standard, Stretch). Each one is carefully designed to build reading confidence. Questions progress from simple retrieval and sequencing to vocabulary and inference, ensuring all learners are challenged at the right level.
Across all versions, children explore the same core learning. Helpers are people who do important jobs. Doctors help people feel better when they are sick. Firefighters put out fires and help in emergencies. Teachers help children learn new things. Delivery drivers bring parcels and food to people’s homes.
