Worksheet on reflectional and rotational symmetry. Adapted from a lesson I observed whilst in Shanghai. The resources would be suitable for KS2, KS3 or lower ability KS4. In the lesson I observed the teacher asked students to explain their choices and also concluded each sub-section with a 3-point summary of the approach (eg after the second question: ‘Find two squares that have reflectional symmetry, draw a line of symmetry to fit these two squares, draw the 4th square to match the 3rd square and hence giving the shape reflectional symmetry.’)

An excellent resource, thank you for sharing. I would love to see all possible solutions for these if possible?
