A four-page restorative system for Grades 9-12: incident statement, restorative conference, and a signed behaviour contract with a consequence-acknowledgment clause, aligned to the IB Learner Profile.
These restorative reflection forms give Grades 9-12 teachers the most rigorous tier in the series, moving from a structured incident statement through to a signed behaviour contract with a consequence-acknowledgment clause. Designed for secondary students who can engage with formal accountability processes, the resource moves beyond reflection into documented commitment and evidence of follow-through.
The tiered design means you reach for the right tool for the moment: an incident statement for a minor or moderate incident, a facilitated restorative conference for a serious conflict, or a formal behaviour contract for the most serious cases and suspension returns. The language is pitched for adolescents and frames genuine individual accountability rather than shared blame.
The resource works in any school or system using PBIS, restorative justice, trauma-informed practice, or social-emotional learning, and it maps cleanly to the IB DP and MYP Learner Profile and ATL skills. It is also aligned to CASEL’s social-emotional competencies.
