A lesson intended to prepare students for studying the poetry of Robert Frost, particularly with the CIE AS examinations in mind, but useful for any pre-teaching of Frost's work.
Resources include a lesson introducing key vocabulary using a word-search starter and enabling students to create a timeline, a short biography of Robert Frost and a final fun "Frost Facts" True or False class-game. Did you know Robert Frost received so many honorary degrees he had them sewn into a quilt? It's true!
There is also a sheet containing critical and contextual facts about Frost, including key quotations made by Frost and critical comments about Frost's poetry, that students can use for further reading or that teachers can use to inform further study.
