AS/A-Level notes for William Shakespeare’s Othello - specific to the Edexcel exam board, but I’m sure could be applied to other exam specifications.

Got an A* in A-Level mocks, and have just done the exam on Thursday.

Includes a document of questions - I have one example essay (from aforementioned mock) and a few practice paragraphs, as well as a ‘guide’ for general essay layout.

The other document (13 pages, not including cover page) includes the notes that I typed-up prior to the exam - this bundle is relatively cheap because these are not fully complete. I encourage you to expand upon my ideas in this to help you understand the text better yourself. It includes quotes (SOME are annotated), comments on structure and form, comments on context and intertextuality, and also critical approaches which are necessary for the Edexcel specification.

Feel free to contact me regarding any questions, or if I can help at all with any student’s understanding of Othello!

UPDATE: I got an A* in my English A-level in 2019.
