Sixth Form Student University Personal Statement and Employability Pack

This is an extremely useful bundle for sixth form/college students on applying/preparing for university and securing employment. All resources are annotated with helpful advice for students and explanations of the features of the resource. It includes a model personal statement with commentary, a series of model example personal statements for courses such as teaching, chemistry and nursing, a guide on how to write a successful UCAS personal statement, and a template for students to complete their own.

Also included are 2 model student CVs: one for academic purposes (i.e. applying to university) and another when looking for employment. A template for students to create their own CV is also provided. They can easily be adapted as a template for students to use to create their own CV and personal statement.

These resources would be helpful as part of careers education in PSHE or citizenship and could be useful form time/tutor period activities (for KS4 and sixth form students).
