I use these little grids at the end of a lesson. The children look at the success criteria for the lesson and then mark their own work and give themselves a next step. They also circle the thumb that is relevant to their learning. The peer assessment sheet is very similar but it allows them to write something they liked about their friends work and a place to write a next step for them. The end of unit assessment sheet is useful if you wish to find out what you might need to go back to. Prep by typing in relevant information then copying and pasting it a further five times on the page.
