The Heliocentric Model- this lesson teaches children about another model of the Solar System in which was believed by another Ancient Scientist.

This lesson requires children to make a jigsaw of the model and figure out which planets have been included/left out. There is also an aspect of role play, for children to act as the planets rotating around the sun.

Included:
*A powerpoint presentation
*A jigsaw activity where children re-make the heliocentric model.
*A detailed lesson plan.
*True and false statements to sort.

It is a follow on lesson from others in which I have uploaded but can be taught as a stand alone lesson also.
