The GO-TO resource to give to students to help them with learning and identifying structural techniques.

This lists the most common structural techniques students can look to both analyse in Language work and use in their creative writing.

They are also put into three tiers based on their ease of use and identifying, which I’ve always found student love the premise of; having a tier list for things is a very appealing aspect for students.

I’ve also included a suggestion of what you would generally look to analyse with each one, as I know that’s always something my students have struggled with, so having a suggestion to start them off has helped massively.

If you find this one useful, you may also find my accompanying Language Techniques sheet, also tier-listed, helpful too!
