This includes a presentation that explains how to plan a scientific investigation, this may be given to students for them to read independently or presented by a tutor.
The investigation involves splitting class into student groups, each person in the group is given a role to allow differentiation and encourage participation.
Each group carries out one of four investigations/research tasks, these can be allocated based on ability.
Students produce their findings as a scientific poster, information is shared through a marketplace activity however presentations could also be used.
