At Beormund Primary School, Southwark, staff work hard to provide a supportive environment allowing pupils with a wide range of social, emotional and behavioural difficulties to succeed, in ‘Special Schools’.

Staff employ a wide range of positive strategies, such as 'thinking time', where pupils reflect on how their inappropriate choices have consequences. Planning Alternative Tomorrows with Hope (PATHs) are used to explore individual and school aims, forming large displays around the school where everyone can see and think about supporting each other in achieving their dreams.
