A simple IWB maths game, designed in Powerpoint to support children’s early number skills and recognition of numerals from 1 to 10. Children say how many mini-beasts they can see presented in the ten frame and click the matching numeral on the number track. Following this, children say how many more mini-beasts would need to be added to make 10 and click the matching numeral on the number track. This game helps to support the development of children’s early number skills using a ten-frame. This resource is easily editable to include other arrangements of mini-beasts. This IWB resource inks well with Spring Term White Rose planning and the Unit Building 9, 10 (though is not endorsed by WRM).

This resource also includes mini-beast themed ten-frames that can be printed off, laminated and used to support children’s early number skills during whole class provision.

I f you enjoy using this game to support teaching and learning in your class then do give us a positive review. Many thanks.
