A set of 5 comprehensions based on songs from everyone’s favorite movie - The Greatest Showman!

There are a total of 58 questions spread across 5 of the most popular songs from the movie soundtrack;

The questions have been written with a focus on retrieval, inference and vocabulary understanding, in line with the key skills tested at the end of KS2. They are ideal for use across KS2, with varying degrees of teacher input/support and could also be used in KS3.

I have included the lyrics for each song (available freely via Google) and a link to a YouTube video for each. I would use these resources as part of the lesson, playing the video whilst the children followed the printed lyrics and then used these to answer the questions, marking as we worked through.

The sets could also be used for distance comprehension lessons or homework.
