Key stage 3 ~ year 7 ~ complete lesson on the night sky. In this introductory lesson to space students will learn how to describe the difference between natural and artificial satellites, describe comets, meteors and asteroids and describe the structure of the universe. This lesson also includes optional revision of weight calculations in different gravitational field strengths.

Extension questions are included on the slides and there is a pick and mix of different tasks to select from for your students.
