Here I will continue to talk about the differnces between the preterite and the imperfect. I made a mistake in the video. If you watch the video with YouTube annotaions turned on, you will see the correction as the video plays. The correction was brought to my attention by someone on here (tes.co.uk). However, that persons second comment that continuar should be in the preterite is wrong. Habitual actions require the imperfect. Us continuing going to the park without any specified beginning or end falls into the imperfect category. Thanks for the other correction, however.

Errors incurred in the last sentence confuse the issue: "Después de ese día, nosotros continuábamos ir al parque" is unnatural Spanish, A verbal phrase with a gerund is necessary here: continuar + gerundio. Also the verb "continuar" should be in Pretérito, and not Imperfecto.
