A four-week unit for A Level students preparing to write their NEA (non-exam assessment).

This is a scheme which explores different themes in Sebastian Barry's 2008 novel, 'The Secret Scripture'. This could be something students use as their post-1900 text in the comparative coursework piece, or it could be used as a way to get students to think critically about other post-1900 texts in terms of their themes and ideas.
