This is a reading lesson which focuses on what happened at the Bastille in 1789 and why it happened and allows students to decide whether the storming of the Bastille had a positive or negative impact on the French Revolution. The lesson its self is made up of a series of comprehending and summarising tasks which allow the students to full access the information in the text. The activities are clearly stepped out in the PowerPoint. This resource also includes a differentiated version of the tasks for lower level classes.
