The Witches Roald Dahl Comprehension and Original Writing KS3

This extract gives students a simplified and broken down way of accessing a fiction text. The first part poses comprehension and language activities to ensure the text is carefully read. The second part gives questions which allow students to analyse language, and develop reading skills.

There are writing activities to include vocabulary building, as well as the usual exam style writing activity, with 2 writing options. There is also a creative option for weaker students.
