Filling the gap - transformations is the first in a series of a number of resources that allow students to identify which sub-topics in a topic area they are strong and which they are weak by simply colouring in a grid. The grid is a model for their brains where thesections that are not coloured in are the gaps in a students knowledge. The focus is not on what a question looks like, but for the pupils to use the correct terminology to decribe in words which topics they struggle with. Pupils can clearly see gaps in their grid - which they will need to revise to fill.
