An introduction lesson to push and pull factors in urbanisation. During this lesson the students revise rates of urbanisation over time using a graph showing rates of change for 6 different countries between 1500 and 2023. Students will begin to explore the reasons for differing rates of urbanisation for LICs and HICs. The foundation work during this lesson will lead on to a case study on Push and pull factors in Nigeria. Suitable for KS3 but also GCSE.
