The 'Great Army' , some controversy on its role, size and impact.
Finally students are asked to write a 350-450 word response discussing the views expressed in the information provided. They are required to make a judgment based on what they already know and have just read. ( You may like to include a day of further research at this point for students) There is a marking criteria attached based on a short response - 6 marks.
