Two lessons exploring Carol Ann Duffy’s poem War Photographer, taken from the AQA Literature Power and Conflict anthology.

The first lesson includes a discussion around the connotations of war photography, a copy of the poem, some structured analysis provided for the first stanza, exploration of the context around PTSD and a relevant assessment framework (relevant AQA mark scheme) included.

The second lesson focuses on an exam style question and discusses the connotation of the words pain and suffering before moving forward to create an extended response to a key question.
