Teacher presentation to introduce "what's important to me" . The starter is a shape puzzle that recaps on school vocab. The slide can be printed off and pupils work independently to form the triangle. The teacher then introduces 7 things that are important to them. The pupils can use dictionaries and their books to prepare speaking presentations on what is important to them. There is a worksheet with a reading text that can be used for pupils as a prompt to write their own answers. There is also a storyboard template for them to prepare a plan. This would work equally well preparing for a speaking presentation. There is also a fun Sudoku puzzle.

This is a lovely lesson to use as an icebreaker with new classes.
This could be extended with use of "weil"
