An IAW introduction to support the children understand and imagine what a jungle is like and provide an opportunity to develop their vocabulary. Alongside this I had created a 'jungle&' with a range of different houseplants (none naturally appearing in in UK but which had varying leaves/heights and flowers) and the children used this as basis for small world play using newly acquired vocabulary.
