Generally a good resource, but I would try to refrain from closed questioning. I like the idea of the Island and creating a set of rules as a main task, but I would normally do this with KS3. I realise you are using a textbook, but some summarised ideas on slides would be nice. More importantly, I would like to know how pupils are consolidating their learning.
