What makes a Creative and Enterprising lesson?

This resource is an ‘Off the shelf’ presentation that can be used as part of a whole school INSET or for departmental training and discussion, I have successfully used the presentation in both these areas of training.
The presentation sets out four aims:

• To gain an understanding and benefits of creative learning in the classroom.
• To increase confidence in using Creative teaching and learning in a classroom.
• To understand what it means to be ‘In your Element’.
• To encourage a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  As part of the presentation there is an ‘Ice Breaker’ exercise to encourage the participants to think how they would answer the question posed. I provide a list to start the exercise, you may wish to be creative and create your own list!
  The resource has been created based on my own work both in the classroom and in the promotion of creative teaching and learning during my time as the Regional Director for Enterprise and Creativity for South East England.
