This Reading Comprehension worksheet is suitable for beginner to proficient ESL learners. The text describes the life and work of one of the the Roman General MArk Antony.

Mark Antony, or Marcus Antonius in Latin, was a famed Roman general under Julius Caesar and later triumvir (43–30 BCE), who, with Cleopatra, queen of Egypt, was defeated by Octavian (later named emperor Augustus) in the last of the civil wars that destroyed the Roman Republic.

After carefully reading the text / bio, students are required to complete some comprehension exercises including comprehension questions, True or False exercises, a definitions match, a fill-in-the-gaps exercise and a fun crossword.
