This unit is a ready made resource. Project the pages and engage your students about what they see. This is a photograph/map exploration of 3 very different world environments. The focus is on a range of photographs in each of the 3 different environments. Each photo can be displayed for discussion and then decisions can be made to place the photograph on the map provided. This allows students to use the whiteboard. This unit can be used in primary school studies about the world, geography and environment. It can also be used as an introductory unit in secondary studies about place and environment. The detective aspect adds to student interest and assists understanding of world locations for places with contrasting climates.
