This Powerpoint resource is designed to be used in the mornings, maybe during the register, but could be used during other ‘dead time’ in the day. It is a whole terms worth (12 weeks) of daily activities with a focus on English and Maths problems with the aim to help prepare children for SATs. There are also more creative activities, encouraging reasoning and thinking skills.
Each day has a different theme with four or five independent activities. Children could choose two or three tasks and more able children could be challenged to complete all of them within a certain period of time.
The Powerpoint is editable so can be adapted and changed according to your needs.
