To help students remember the conjugation of ALLER in the present tense, I developed these two teaching strategies - one is a song and one is a visual concept. Both have been successful!

This simple technique I developed has helped my students over the years!

Included in this bundle are 30+ PowerPoint presentations that correspond to chapters 1 through 7 in Allez, Viens! The presentations are organized by chapter and separated into different folders to make it easier to locate what you need. Chapter 1 has many, many PowerPoint presentations. I created this study guide to help students organize what they have learned in my class. This is a packet that your students fill out as they study for the final exam. Included are areas for vocabulary words, a long section on verbs, as well as shorter sections on adjectives, adverbs, question words, quantities and object pronouns. The sections of the packet are short on purpose so students can see The Big Picture and not feel overwhelmed by the details.

This is a big picture explanation of comparisons with adjectives and adverbs as well as an explanation of superlatives with adjectives and adverbs. There is not a lot of text in this explanation, but rather charts that help your students see the differences here.

Oftentimes, students get confused about the different types of pronouns. In this document, you will find the following types of pronouns listed in a chart with some examples for each type: subject, object (adverbial), direct object, indirect object, reflexive, disjunctive, possessive, demonstrative, relative and indefinite. This chart is useful for tutoring students, as well as for the whole class to use as a reference.
