A good use of audiovisual sources such videos and movies about different topics of the era. For Instance about the ‘monkey trial’ the students had to watch three scenes from the movie ‘Inherit the Wind’(1960) and they had to answer the questions like the following: Why do you think Darrow called Bryan to confess and what is he trying to prove? (Give examples from the scene to support your answer) What is Darrow main point about the theory of Evolution? Who do you think proves his point at the end and why?
