KS3 Drama Cover Lessons Booklet A booklet of 26 different cover lessons for KS3 Drama. A range of worksheets and tasks suitable for desk based Drama or could be adaptred for Remote Learning. Included are the cover sheets for each lesson and any worksheets needed (78 page document) - great for last minute cover lessons. Cover sheets do include a mix of written and practical tasks. I have tried to keep them generic to make them easy to adapt to the topic of the lesson or to be able to used last minute for any class. Could also be used as tasks for students in isolation room. A PDF version and a Powerpoint version of the booklet are included so that you can adapt to the needs of your lesson.

Scheme of Work based on ‘The Woman in Black’, adapted by Stephen Mallatratt This is a 10 lesson scheme of work (although can be extended over further weeks or equally cut down to a shorter scheme) aimed at Year 9 KS3 students. Monologue and Duologue Rehearsal Technique Support Cards Developed to aid students when they are in rehearsal for their GCSE or A Level scripted performances however many of the activities would also work well with younger students. Includes 32 rehearsal techniques to help students in the rehearsal process - there are 26 techniques in the monologue cards and then an additional 6 exclusively for the duologue cards. Each card also includes reflection questions to support to consider how the technique could support their final performance. I have a number of these card sets printed and laminated on keychains so that each group can select the rehearsal technique appropriate to them in the rehearsal lessons, however you could also have cards printed separately so that you could select the technique for them. I have included the PDF file (ready to print) and the PowerPoint, in case you wish to adapt the wording of a technique or want to add your own rehearsal techniques. You may need to change the font on the titles if you use the PowerPoint version as I downloaded this font. Some of the activities are the same as those in my Devising Theatre Support Cards, however there is also a range of additional techniques.

History of Theatre Scheme of Work Aimed at Key Stage Four Drama. This scheme of work covers a practical exploration of Greek Theatre, Medieval Theatre, Elizabethan Theatre and Kitchen Sink Drama. The aim of the scheme is to extract key features from each of these times periods that may help develop students’ own performance work further with a brief history of each of the time periods. This bundle includes the scheme of work, PowerPoints (these are labelled but can be stretched out across lessons) and resources. There should be timers on the first PowerPoint but these don’t seem to be working at the moment - I have left the slides in so that you could add in your own timers (or use an online alternative).
